6 Houses in Ovar
We are interested in the relation between two elements:
1- below, the volume with the social program (stuccoed in white);
2- on the top, the private zone (with all the volume covered in thermo-lacquered aluminium sheets).
It exists two variations on the lower floor:
1- with a longitudinal living room (laboratory kitchen and without an entrance hall);
2- with a transversal living room (with wide kitchen and entrance hall);
We choose to place the parking under the volumes; by elevating them, the houses earn more depth to the parcel.
The transition spaces from the interior to the exterior (big balconies) will extend the covered space.
